In the new month of Shevat, declare and change the atmosphere through your prophetic utterance. This is the month of the tribe of Asher. In Deuteronomy 33:24, Moses declared this blessing over Asher -“And let him dip his foot in oil.” That’s a powerful prophetic word for this season. In Hebrew, the word for olive oil is Shemen and the word for press is Gat. So an oil press is Gathshemen (sounds familiar?) where the crushing begins! In the scriptures, oil is linked to healing, joy and the anointing. So the Mashiach/Messiah meaning Anointed One, being crushed in the garden of Gethsemane – the oil press, is linked to healing, joy and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Song of Solomon 1:3 (TPT) declares – For your lovely name is “Flowing Oil.”

As you surrender and crush your own ambitions, your own desires, your own life plans to His will, get ready to experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, His oil filling you and becoming the spiritual fuel to cause your breakthroughs to begin.

The anointing will cost you the greatest crushing of your life yet it’s in this crushing that every religious structure, every old mindset that has stopped you in the past, will be broken.

This month allow Him to pour the oil of His love into the deepest crevices of your heart. Many of you have been through a hard, dry season of crushing and pain and God is saying it’s time for things to change. Your breakthroughs have begun. Let the oil flow from the Messiah, the Anointed One onto you. Galatians 3:27 (TPT) says it beautifully, ‘It was faith that immersed you into Jesus, the Anointed One, and now you are covered and clothed with His anointing.’

So break out and break forth because the breaker of Micah 2:13 has gone before you, broken through and passed through the gate. He has made the way for you for  He is indeed the Way Maker and the Promise Keeper.

DECLARE – “MY BREAKTHROUGHS HAVE BEGUN.”
