The prophet Zechariah brought in a timely and encouraging Word to the struggling Israelites trying to rebuild the temple. He spoke to Zerubbabel, the governor and Joshua, the high priest that though there are enemies around the walls surrounding Jerusalem and discouragement within the walls, restoration of the temple will happen! His people would see restoration and worship Him ‘in spirit and in truth’. The enemy comes to frighten and to intimidate, to steal our supplies, to discourage us and make us hopeless so that we become useless for the Kingdom. Discouragement shackles our vision and hinders us. But, His Word says in Zechariah 4:6-7, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”
The enemy is busy unleashing depressing and hope deferred moments; distracting many so that they lose perspective on the Kingdom and over their lives leaving them hopeless, loveless, tired, fireless and cold. Tell your mountain, ‘I have Grace to go through this.’
2Corinthians 12:9 says, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My Strength is made perfect in weakness”. We have Grace to go up higher in this season! Our spiritual condition is not governed by our situations or circumstances but governed by Grace. Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can boldly come to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Grace is released at the finished work of the Cross. We have Grace to command our situations to change. Grace to open and shut doors. Grace to bind and loose. Grace to separate ourselves from sin. Grace to CROSSOVER into the new season. This is the season of multiple Grace. Great Grace is upon us in this season.
Let us seek God and find explosive Grace for this season!
Yes, let us not be discouraged, depressed and feel hopeless, because the enemy uses these weapons to keep us from reaching our destiny. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus! His grace is truly sufficient for us. We have been given an abundant supply of grace and we need to use it to CrossOver into the new season. Amen
Apt message for our situation. God bless you for encouraging Believers with the Truth, which has the power to set us free.
Amen!
Encouraged.
